The Moroso name might be familiar to folks who tinker with cars. Dick Moroso was a well known American racer and founded Moroso Performance Parts. His son was a up and coming stock car driver, having won the 1989 season championship in the second-tier NASCAR series. In 1990, he had a full-time ride in the top tier series and was having a very good rookie campaign until he was killed in a non-racing car accident the night after a race. He was awarded the Rookie of the Year award posthumously. This is a tribute to his 1990 race car.
